Depending on how your existing site has been constructed these could be dynamic or static. Dynamic URL's will require code to be written (POA), static can easily be written within a spread sheet. If you use an SEO company for your website please ask them for further information or contact our support team.

We strongly recommend that this is tested with various products and scenarios.
Default Metadata
Before going live you may not have time to complete all your metadata, but wish ensure that blank titles and descriptions are not displayed for a search engine result. For this purpose Liquidshop has a default meta data area, for further information see our further help topics for SEO.
Live Transaction
The final step we recommend taking is to perform a live transaction on your website, this will give you an idea of the process that your customers will be taking when they place orders and also confirms that the payment setup is complete. For payment tutorials [click here]
Your website payments will be in test (sandbox) mode, to process a live transaction please ensure we have been your live transaction details.
Website build sign off forms
When you are ready to put your website live, we will need to have the completed sign off forms signed and returned to us. Please note we require 48 hours notice prior to go-live and due to testing and monitoring we do not put websites live on Friday's or bank holidays. We have found from our client's experiences that a Tuesday or a Wednesdays morning are best suited. We also advise that a website is put live as early as possible within the day to allow for propagation.
The forms are available for download here: Approval
A little About Propagation
When a new website is deployed it is usual that DNS changes will need to made to the domain records, this will be in the form of an IP or name server update. This update process is called propagation and occurs when domain name servers (DNS) on the Internet world-wide update their records (DNS tables) to reflect any updates to domain names and IP addresses. The propagation process must be completed for your changes to be recognised throughout the Internet.
Propagation will take a while to complete depending on the TTL that is applied. It is possible that the process will take anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours to complete and during this time traffic will be delivered to the existing and new website.
